Alinex is born

Fruit of the cooperation between the Junta de Extremadura and the Universidade de Évora, Alinex is born.

Alinex is a distribution of the gnu/linux operating system, based on gnuLinEx, adapted to the portuguese language, and making advantage of the hardware support, documentation and formation of the gnuLinEx project.

Its main objective is to promote the use of Free Software in the Public Administration, Educational System and Small and Medium Companies.
